Kai Zheng is a professor with the School of Computer Science and Technology at Soochow University since September 2016. He received his Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from The University of Queensland in 2012. He has worked as Postdoctoral Research Fellow (03/2012 - 01/2014) and ARC DECRA (Australian Research Council Discovery Early Career Research Award) Fellow (02/2014 - 08/2016) with the Data and Knowledge Engineering Group at The University of Queensland. He was the winner of the Best Paper Award in ICDE (2015, South Korea) and Best Student Paper Award in Australian Database Conference (2014, Sydney). He served the Program co-Chair of the 18th Asia-Pacific Web Conference (2016, Suzhou), and Program Committee for a few top-tier conferences including ACM SIGMOD (2016, 2015), ACM CIKM (2015, 2014), DASFAA (2015, 2013), etc. He is the guest editor for the Journal of WWW, Geoinformatica and Frontier of Computer Science.
